Every Best of the West rifle system undergoes a rigorous break-in process, starting with the Proof Research break-in procedure. After this, the rifle is zeroed at 100 yards and then tested at distances exceeding 1000 yards. Each rifle must achieve sub-MOA groupings to pass our quality control standards; otherwise, it will not be sold to customers. Next, the rifle's trajectory is verified to perfect the entire ballistic curve and then sent to the laser for a custom engraved turret that matches the ballistics of your rifle.
